A. Technical Logs (Server Logs)

Hosting via Vercel (USA): Our application is hosted on Vercel servers. Vercel is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF)and uses Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs). You can review their compliance at Vercel Privacy Policy.

When you visit Betwinja, our servers automatically store information that your browser transmits. This includes your IP address, browser type, operating system, and the time of the request. We host our application on Vercel, which processes these logs for infrastructure monitoring. This data is processed based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for security and stability. Server logs are processed on Vercel infrastructure, primarily in the EU but with potential US backups.

B. Cookies & Analytics

We use cookies to improve your user experience. Essential cookies are set automatically. With your explicit consent via our consent banner (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), we:

  • Automatically detect and store your timezone for displaying match times in your local time. This time zone information is only used locally to correctly display times in your local time and is not used for tracking purposes.
  • Google Analytics 4 (gtag.js) for usage analysis (IP anonymization enabled, data stored in EU when possible). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).
  • Google Ads for personalized ads and conversion tracking. Transfers to USA protected by Google SCCs + EU-US DPF. Google Ireland Limited (EU) acts as data processor, with some processing by Google LLC (USA).

    • Data Transfer Notice: Google services may transfer data to the USA. Your consent confirms you're informed of this transfer and the safeguards in place.
